Online vet care in Ontario for dogs
Urine leaking (incontinence) treatment renewal for dogs
Treatment renewal for urine leaking (urinary incontinence) in spayed female dogs. A veterinarian licensed by the College of Veterinarians of Ontario reviews your dog’s history and current medication before renewing.
- $49 per consultation, reviewed the same day
- No video call
- Prescription sent to the pharmacy you choose
What the veterinarian does
You describe the leaking, the medication and dose your dog takes now, and how well it has worked. The veterinarian reviews the case, asks any questions by secure messaging, and renews the prescription when it is appropriate.
This consultation is for pets that a veterinarian has already diagnosed and started on treatment. If your pet has never been treated for this, the veterinarian will tell you whether an online assessment is enough or whether an in-person examination is needed first. If it cannot be handled online, the fee is refunded.
What can be prescribed
- Daily syrup that strengthens bladder control
- Daily hormone tablet for spayed female dogs
The veterinarian chooses what is appropriate for your pet. Telepets veterinarians do not prescribe controlled substances. Medication is paid to the pharmacy at its price; Telepets adds no markup.
